KPG president Khamphay Somsana has approval to develop tourist facilities on Phou Bia, Anouvong district, Xaysomboun. The company planned to finish a 51-unit resort and a concrete road to the summit by the 2024 dry season. He said tourism brings more sustainable income than resource extraction.
